Discovering Iceland via campervan, we are available to utilise the conditions available to us. Therefore, we promise to be on location for more extended periods, giving Matthew the availability to help everyone at each location. As a result, expect to be photographing golden hour throughout the day and out late to photograph the Northern Lights!

Day 1 to 5 Reykjavík + Golden Circle
Arrive at Reykjavík Airport to begin the Iceland Photo Workshop at your designated time. A shuttle will be waiting to take you to your hotel room in Reykjavík for a meet and greet.
A great way to start in Iceland with the Golden Circle the most popular touring route in Iceland. In our first 4 days we will begin to understand why with epic waterfalls and canyons during golden hour and Northern lights.
Highlights – Gullfoss, Seljalandsfoss, Skogafoss, Solheimajokull, Haifoss, Reynisfjara Black Sand Beach, Fjadrargljufur canyon.
Day 6 to 8 – Southern Coast + Eastfjords
As we continue our journey eastwards, we’ll have plenty of photo options to capture stunning images like basalt formations, oddly-shaped mountains and glaciers.
Highlights– Vík Village, Svartifoss Waterfall, Jokulsarlon Glacier Lagoon and Diamond Beach.
On Day 8 of this Iceland Photography Tour, our epic road trip will turn into fjord mode as we begin to start driving on the mountain roads in the fjord landscapes.
Highlights – Vestrahorn, Dyrfjöll mountains.
Day 9 to 10 – The Diamond Circle
Explore what some call the most beautiful part of Iceland. This region has flawless landscapes with striking volcanic and geothermal features.
Highlights – Dettifoss waterfall, Goðafoss Waterfall, Aldeyjarfoss, Stuðlagil Canyon.
Day 10 to 13 – Snæfellsnes Peninsula
Snæfellsnes Peninsula is one of the most photographed regions in Iceland with the iconic Kirkjufell Mountain. On our last day of the Iceland Photogrphy Tour well explore Reykjanes Peninsula before our farewell dinner in Reykjavík.
Highlights– Hvitserkur Sea Stack, Kolugljufur canyon, Kirkjufell, Snaefellsjokull National Park, Londrangar Sea Stacks, Hraunfossar and Barnafoss.
Day 14 – Reykjavík
Farewell breakfast included at the hotel room with a shuttle service provided for your corresponding departure time.

Photography Tour Iceland:
During our 14-day Iceland Photography Tour, we will visit numersous waterfalls, glaciers, fjords and beaches surrounded by mountains.
Photographing these locations during the golden hour will allow us to improve our desired skills. In addition, our two week-long workshop will demonstrate many different photography styles in landscape photography.
This Iceland Photo Workshop is a perfect blend of improving your landscape photography skills. However, we will also have the chance to capture the Northern Lights.
In conclusion, a two week-long workshop surrounded by great people, everlasting memories in the land of fire and ice.

Iceland consists of numerous landscapes from the Eastern Fjords, Black Sandy beaches in the South and jaw-dropping mountains in the Golden Circle. These locations allow us to change scenery easily and adapt numerous photography styles and techniques over the two weeks.

Easy to Moderate fitness level is required. Please understand at some locations throughout the tour, and photographers may require a small hike to capture a photo. However, if you're unable to hike, tired or feel unsafe at each location, there are always multiple compositions to shoot.
Please note: You will spend nights sleeping and eating in the campervan at campsites, some with and without electricity. If you require an accommodation, this will be at your own expense.
Matthew Storer Photography tours are not workshops with sit down education. Instead, we focus our learning of photography to be practically based on location every day, allowing you to capture unique images worldwide with an incredible opportunity to learn from a professional photographer 1-to-1 on site.
Furthermore, we will discuss the 'educational workshop section' of the tour to discussions while driving, dinner table conversation, image critiques and downtime throughout the tour.
