    ADDITIONAL INFO

    Photography Tour Flinders Ranges:

The Flinders Ranges National Park in South Australia is a location I was fortunate and privileged to grow up near, spending many years exploring, camping, and photographing the National Park's remote corners.

Therefore, this offers the best knowledge to provide a 5-day Wilpena Pound Photography Tour, visiting the best gorges, wildlife, flora and viewpoints surrounded by breathtaking coloured mountains in the area. Photographing at these locations during the golden hour and with clear night skies will improve our desired skills in landscape and night sky photography. Besides, our week-long workshop will demonstrate many different photography styles in landscape photography.

The Flinders Ranges Photo Workshop is a perfect blend of improving your landscape photography skills and spending time with quality people in an iconic far north area of South Australia. However, we may have multiple chances to capture the Milky Way depending on the weather.

In conclusion, a week-long workshop surrounded by great people, everlasting memories in one of South Australia best-untouched landscapes.

  • Why Wilpena Pound?

The Flinders Ranges is a truly unique and remarkable place in South Australia's Outback, and somewhere I was lucky enough to visit and photography frequently growing up. Now it's your chance to photograph and experience the Flinders Ranges and understand my passion for this remarkable place in outback South Australia.

Throughout the five days exploring the far north, well venture over this stunning landscape from north to south and east to west chasing the best available light. Sharing the experience and laughs with six other photographers capturing the iconic gems from jaw-dropping gorges, historic windmills with Wilpenna shinning in the background, catching the burnt red, yellow, orange of the landscape throughout sunset, trust me when I say this. There is no shortage of photographic inspiration, and that just during the day, a whole new world comes out at night!

    WHAT PREVIOUS PHOTOGRAPHERS SAY

I've travelled extensively, but this was a trip of a lifetime. On numerous occasions, I have visited South Australia and been to the Flinders Ranges many, many years ago. The itinerary is solid. Photographing the best locations throughout the tour and the night sky photography was a massive highlight for me. Excellent accommodation. One word: Go!

I knew this Wilpena Photography Tour was going to be an awesome trip, what I didnt realise was how hard Matthew works to make this trip as good as it is. We had some crazy weather conditions during the tour which made for some epic photography. Had a fantastic trip, met a bunch of new friends, will join Matthew's Iceland trip in the future. Thanks
